Leptologia lota
Species account (old)
Widely distributed and overall a common species, often quite plentiful where Sallows abound, such as moorland verge, damp woodland, and even wet 'slacks' in sand dunes. It is recorded from virtually all the permanent trapping sites. The moth is on the wing from mid-September until about the first week in November, marginally later than the previous species [Sunira circellaris].
