Species account (old)
Taken for the first time in this country by J. C. Dale in Castle Eden Dene in 1838, then frequently by Sang in the same place and also near High Force in Upper Teesdale, always by beating yew from August to October. Now known to feed on Allium ursinum (Ramsons) [...].
