This is a common species on rose, the imago emerging early in the year late May and June): also noted frequently as larvae in their characteristic cases, still feeding in October. J. W. H. H. records Rosa glauca as a host and we have taken it on Rosa mala and Rosa spinosissima vc 66 (TCD). [...]
