Species account (old)
Recorded by Stainton for Darlington and by Gardner for Greatham and Hesleden Dene in the early part of the century and as a result Robson expected it would prove be common [...]. This has not proved to be the case. It was taken on Billingham Marshes in 1925 during a N.N.U. Field Meeting and at Brasside by TCD 23-7-1985 [...] These are the only sightings we are aware of.
