This is another moth whose caterpillar feeds on Epilobium spp. [see Mompha ochraceella, Mompha propinquella], in this case, montanum, and similar low-growing species. Robson thought it was a local species but we now find it fairly common and well distributed in the low-lying parts of vc 66. [...]
