Agdistis bennetii
Species account (old)
This species, which feeds on the leaves of Limonium vulgare was found regularly at Greatham Marshes during Robson's era, and the species was still there in 1962 when plants were examined by the late J. W. H. Harrison in May of that year, holes in the leaves providing the clue to active larvae beneath. There are no other records, this being virtually the limit of the foodplant in our area.
