Species account (old)
Confusion between this species and the next [Aethes piercei], not fully resolved until 1952, makes early records unreliable. Robson's [...] records are therefore ignored. There [are] only [...] two for Durham (Hart Village, 1969, TCD, Vasc. 54.4.30, and Kelloe, 17-7-75, M. Eyre), both from areas of Magnesian Limestone.
