Dichrorampha alpinana
Species account (old)
This is a very local moth, barely reaching the southern border of Durham. The larva feeds on Ox-eye Daisy and Sang's record of having found it on Tansy at Coniscliffe cannot be accepted. [...] The only valid and recent record for the present species is of a single specimen taken by TCD in Wingate Quarry L. N. R. (vc 66) on 16-6-90. This site is an old Magnesian Limestone quarry where tansy is absent but ox-eye is in abundance. (The identification was confirmed by Mr. E. S. Bradford).
