Robson's only record was from Sang's Diary of a specimen (or more) taken on the railway banks near Croft, south of Darlington. He predicted that it ought to be found elsewhere [...] and in this he proved to be correct. We have met with it quite often in a number of widespread localities in vc 66, where it turns up regularly in some of the traps. [...]
