Species account (old)
Robson met with this species on the sea banks around Blackhall Rocks [...] The moth is double brooded and flies during the day and at dusk. Although found occasionally in traps it does not appear to be very strongly attracted to light. At present it is known only from Widdybank Fell in Upper Tessdale, in Juniper Valley (Hisehope Valley) on Muggleswick Common and more recently, in 1990, from a well established colony on Malton N. R., in vc 66 (TCD) [...].
