Eriocrania sangii
Species account (old)
Apart from its discovery around Darlington by John Sang in 1866 and its subsequent presence there, only four additional sites in vc 66 have been found in recent times, revealed by careful checking of genitalia (TCD). Many suspected captures turned out to be the commoner E. semipurpurella Steph.
