Species account (old)
A rare species in point of view of distribution but found in abundance in Hesleden Dene by John Gardner in the early years of the 1900's. This is the only record for vc 66. It is fairly easy to find by examining the seedheads of marjoram (Origanum) where the caterpillars feed inside cases. It is local, however, and not found so far on marjoram plants elsewhere in vc 66.
