Colostygia multistrigaria
Species account (old)
This species is common and widely distributed, taken in all the traps and recorded regularly from other sites in March and April every year. In the north east it is mainly a moorland insect, but is also found along woodland rides where bedstraws grow. The urban catches are probably of windblown strays in view of its very weak flight.
