Species account (old)
[Dunn and Parrack treat Eupithecia fraxinata and Eupithecia innotata separately. Both are now recorded as Eupithecia innotata.] An uncommon insect [...] it was taken in the Durham University trap in 1967. More recently it arrived in D. Nixon's trap at Westgate in June last year (1985). Even when worn, this species is easily recognised by the characteristic shape of both pairs of wings. It is never found in large numbers in those localities where it does occur.
