Species account (old)
A mainly southern species which just reaches our [county]. It was not known to Robson and his colleagues and was first recorded by J. W. H. Harrison, from the Derwent Valley in 1928 and 1929 (Vasc. 15:38 and 15:157). Later it was taken by several workers in the same area, for example at Ebchester by the Wallis Club in 1930 and at Shotley Bridge by J. R. Johnson and J. W. H. Harrison in the same year. J. R. Johnson recorded it in 1956 from Chopwell Woods and TCD took it on Waldridge Fell in the 1960's. [...]
