Species account (old)
This is a moorland species and will probably be found on all our upland heaths and mosses. J. P. Robson of Barnard Castle found it widespread in Upper Teesdale but this is our only Durham record. [...] It should be possible to find it on the heaths round Edmundbyers and Stanhope if these are searched properly.
