Species account (old)
Although the distribution map and text in MBGBI Vol. 2 gives this species as widespread and common we have not found this in our area. Robson quotes the "Manual" as recording it for Darlington and it is also in Sang's diary for that town where he took it at street lamps. His only other note is of Backhouse finding it at St. John's. There are a number of modern records in vc 66, all in the north central part [...].
