Species account (old)
[...] 'Very scarce' in Robson's time [...] It remains decidedly rare in Durham, where there have been but few records since Robson's time (when it had only been recorded from Upper Teesdale and Hartlepool). Singles have been taken on Waldridge Fell and at Crook and Bolam (near Darlington - two on 2 July 1976, JDP), and regular catches have only occurred at one site, Hamsterley Forest trap (TCD) where it has been taken annually since 1981.
