Species account (old)
[...] In Robson's time the species was known from Greatham Salt Marsh and the coast north of Hartlepool as far as Durham was concerned. Although there is still a little left of the once extensive salt marsh area at Teesmouth, most of it has disappeared under the claims of industry since then. The moth may still be there, but it has not been recorded in recent times, and has most probably been exterminated. We do not think it would be present [...] nowadays.
