Fen Wainscot
Arenostola phragmitidis
Species account (old)
Not known to Robson [...] specimens of this species were found among Phragmites communis at Haverton Hill on 1 August 1982 by R. T. McAndrew. It is not known yet whether this is a permanent colony or a temporary offshoot from the Yorkshire sites some distance to the south. Further monitoring of the station would appear to be a priority for the local lepidopterists.
