Diarsia brunnea
Species account (old)
A fairly generally distributed species of mixed and deciduous woodland and parkland, the distribution of which does not appear to have changed to any great extent since the days of Robson [...] if anything its numbers may have increased. [...] In Durham it is very widely distributed from Langdon Beck where I. Findlay takes it regularly, throughout Teesdale and Weardale (Hamsterley Forest trap) to the central lowlands where it is in every list. It is also in most of the woods in the Derwent valley, and recorded from Castle Eden Dene near the coastline, by D. Sheppard.
