Species account (old)
Robson noted this species as 'Not so common as the last [Oligia fasciuncula], and apparently most numerous near the sea' [...] In Durham, it appears distinctly scarcer [than Northumberland], having been only once recorded since Robson's time - from Castle Eden Dene by D. A. Sheppard in the 1970's. On 29-30 July 1982, B. Skinner found ab. Iatistriata to comprise some 12% of the population on Ross Links, its only British site.
