Species account (old)
Robson recorded this species as 'Common and generally distributed', though 'not recorded everywhere' [...] In Durham it is ubiquitous, appearing in all the traps, and given in all the other lists. It has been taken from the second week in June to the third week in August, with 4 June 1921 exceptionally early and 4 September 1984 exceptionally late (both from inland sites).
