Species account (old)
[...] this was first noted in Durham, when it arrived in M. Mann's trap at Witton Gilbert on 25th August and 8th September 1983 and TCD had it in the Rothamsted trap at Chester-le-Street on 30th August and 19th September of the same year. In 1984 specimens arrived at Shildon on 4th August and 6th September [...] Numbers were recorded elsewhere outside our [county] about this time, but there was no evidence of immigration at the coastal traps. In 1985, a further six specimens arrived in the Witton Gilbert and Chester-le-Street traps [...].
