Species account (new)

After the first record on the 9th July 2005 this good looking moth has made great in-roads into VC66 and is always a pleasure to take out of the trap. It can occur anywhere but mainly occupies the central vertical corridor of the county. It is associated with Oak and Birch species. There is one generation (May-July) with occasional individuals seen in early autumn.
