Pale Prominent
Pterostoma palpina
Species account (old)
Exceedingly rare'' in Robson's time, when he only had records for Crimdon Dene (1860, vc 66) [...] The position today is only a little better [...] TCD had it in the Hamsterley Forest trap on 18 August 1984. There are no other records as yet, but we feel that more will occur from time to time. It is in some strength just over the Tees into Yorkshire at Yarm, where J.P. Warbrook informs us that he takes it regularly at light between June and August.
