This species is almost ubiquitous, having been found almost everywhere both outdoors as well as indoors. The only places to escape are the high heather moorland and ridges over 350m, between the valleys in the west [...]. One of the pest species of stored food products, carpets, woollen clothing and even set specimens of insects in collectors' cabinets.
