Aphomia sociella
Species account (old)
Robson found this species (unaccountably) scarce in Co. Durham, citing only a single record , from Hartlepool cemetery [...] In vc 66 it is now also well known, but apparently rather restricted to the west of the county. The larva feed in the nests of wasps and bumble bees, eating the combs.
