Argyresthia semitestacella
Species account (old)
Widespread [...] although not nearly as common as most Argyresthia species, and apparently becoming scarcer northwards (or met with less frequently). Its foodplant is beech and it does not appear until later in the year, August and September. It can be coaxed to flight by beating the branches of the trees at the appropriate time of the year.
