This is a somewhat local species nowadays, although recorded for a number of sites in the south and east of Durham by Sang and Gardner [...] It is now found abundantly in the Chopwell Rothamsted trap, and more recently (1991) in the Rothamsted traps at Hamsterley, Castle Eden Dene Stainton, Shildon and Chester-le-Street.
