Oxypteryx atrella

Species account (old)
In Robson's Catalogue, recorded by Sang for Castle Eden Dene and Darlington, by Gardner for Hesleden Dene and Crimdon Dene [...] this moth was rated as uncommon and it remains so today. In vc 66 it continues to appear from Castle Eden Dene in the Rothamsted trap and has also been found at Shildon, Chopwell and Hamsterley (all TCD, det. E. Bradford).
