Species account (old)
Dependent upon Ragwort, this species is found preferentially at coastal sites , but also on waste places and undisturbed pasture inland. Sang and Robson both knew it as scarce around railway banks at Darlington and Hartlepool [...]. In vc 66 it is now known from a further four sites, all inland, which indicates wide distribution [...].
