Although not mentioned in Dunn & Parrack an early specimen of this adventive species has recently been located in the Brady-Wyer Collection at Doncaster Museum taken by L.S.Brady at Sunderland and although the date is not recorded he was known to be active from around 1890 to 1920. There are three further records of adults which were all confirmed by dissection. The first was taken in the Chester-le-Street Rothamsted light trap on 28th May 1992 followed by another there on 7th July the same year and finally one taken at light at Souter Lighthouse on 22nd July 2018.
