Larch Pug
Eupithecia lariciata
Species account (old)
This is a widely distributed and common species in all the larch woods. It is not too difficult to disturb the moth by beating Larch when it often obligingly drops on to the tray. More easily taken at light in the late evening. It is always worth trying for, in either way, wherever Larch grows.
