Species account (old)
Known in the last century from Sang's collecting at Hell Kettles[...] there are few more recent records [...]. [...] a single specimen came to the Chester-le-Street trap in 1969. Sheppard and Monck recorded it from Castle Eden Dene (Vasculum 64, No. 3) and more recently (27-7-89) a specimen was found by A. Donnison at the Washington Wildfowl and Wetland Park (det. TCD).
