Hedya salicella
Species account (old)
Until recently, Sang's record of this species for Darlington remained the only one for [VC66]. It was rediscovered by J. Newton at Beamish, however, in 1956 and subsequently a cluster of localities in north central vc 66 have produced single specimens from time to time. It remains a rare and local species with us.
