Species account (old)
This moth is typically a mountain heathland species, the larvae feeding on Vaccinium and Myrica but it also occurs in limestone country (Robson was aware of the occurrence in both moorland and lowland habitats [...]). Sang found it on the railway banks at Darlington and this remains the only record for vc 66. [...]
