Species account (old)
Another species which is very local in its distribution, occurs in vc 66 only on the Magnesian limestone grassland where Common Rockrose Helianthum chamaecistus grows. Known along the coast north of Hartlepool in Robson's day and still present in fair numbers between Crimdon Dene and Hawthorn Hive. An inland colony survives with some difficulty on the limestone grassland of Sherburn Hill. It is not known elsewhere [...].
