Species account (old)
Robson noted only the three sites recorded by Sang between 1868 and 1878, Castle Eden Dene and two places on the Yorkshire border. Much recent searching has resulted in only one discovery of mines on Potentilla reptans at Waldridge Fell, 6-10-1987 (L. Moore). TCD failed to rear any moths from this material. A single specimen, however, appeared in the Chester-le-Street trap on 3-8-1990.
