Species account (old)
This is another species whose occurrence must be in some doubt as far as residence here is concerned. Robson thought that it was only an occasional wanderer from colonies in Yorkshire and we are of much the same opinion. [...] In Durham McAndrew and Williams found a single moth at Hartlepool on 19 August 1976, and the Hamsterley Forest trap produced one on 23 August 1984, which TCD identified.
